....In some packs and troops they give a Mother's ribbon to put these pins on,
but still there is no allowance for these to be worn on the uniform. Does
anyone have a good solution for this?
My solution is to design a temporary patch which will allow you to put
these pins on that patch. I will quote page 5 of the BSA Insignia Guide,
Female leaders wearing the yellow female Cub Scout leader
blouse may wear one temporary insignia centered above the Boy
Scouts of America strip. Women wearing the tan uniform shirt
place insignia the same as on the men's shirt.
I was thinking about designing a temporary patch similar to the Cub Scout
compass patch. Moms then could stick all of thier pins on this patch. Make
it three inches in diameter and put a button loop on top.
On the tan shirts you could just attach the button loop of the patch to the
right button pocket. My $0.05 worth (inflation). Please e-mail pros and
