}and we have something _similar_ but not the same. The Quartermaster calls
}them Billies (not dixies, which are small, round aluminium)
The last Scouter who expalianed a billy to me described it as a pot they
used for hot water for tea and such. I had asked about the signature line
"keep the billy boiling".
A dutch oven is used for baking. They are usually cast iron. They have
a lid so coals can be put on above and below it. You now have a smaller
version of the oven on the old wood stoves.
I haven't seen a billy but they sound different.
