Grrrrr..... (Down, Don! Down! Quick! Someone get the net!)
My father would call this, "The height of something or other."
Could someone please tell me why the H-E-double-L a scouting
group needs a refrigerator???????? Are the sodas going to get
warm? What is it that you can't replace with something that
does not need refrigeration; the mayo? Sheesh! If we can't
teach the scouts that they can live without a GD refer, what
do we expect to be able to teach them? How are they going to
get enough power for the dishwasher and microwave?
If you MUST take a refer (e.g. to keep the medicine that keeps
you alive from spoiling and that's about the only reason I would
call necessary) then look into a kerosene powered refer. They
are used all over the 3rd & 4th world. Expensive but reliable
and they cost less than the solar panels you are asking about.
