The Pinewood Derby car is a Father & Son project. However, each year the boy
should be doing more of the car himself. I would suspect that the Tiger
Cub's car had much more Father input than a second year Webelo's car. Is it
fair then that they compete against each other? Should the Pack have a
first, second, and third place go to a district meet or should the races be
run by rank and the first place Scout in each rank move on? Which way do
most districts operate?
