Just returned from a staff development weekend for NE II 75, the Woodbadge
Course which will be held at Camp Siwanoy August 23- 31, 1995. The course
will be kosher, Sabbath observant and handicap accessable. Arrnagements have
been made to accomodate Muslims and members of the Church of Jesus Christ of
th Latter-Day Saints as well.
We received a copy of a letter from the North America Northeast Area
Presidency. The letter reads:
"To: All Stake Presidents in the North America Northeast Area
"We have ben notified that the Northeast Region of the Boy Scouts of
America is holding a special Wood Badge course. The particular focus for
this Wood Badge course will reach out to the orthodox Jewish Scouter and to
LDS Scouters. We have attached a flyer which has the appropriate information
on it for your consideration. Those who are interested could respond as
appropriate following the instructions of the flyer.
