I=92m Jim Miller Sr. Most of you have probably have read a post or two f=
son Jim Miller Jr. at one time or another. Please don=92t confuse us, he=
one with all the opinions.
I been a member of the BSA for 40 years now. Joined Cubs at 8 yrs old.
I currently serve as Council President of the Hudson Liberty Council in
Jersey City, NJ. It is my second year in that position. I=92ve been a m=
of the council board for 15 yrs. Previously, I served in various capacit=

VP - Exploring
VP - Finance
I=92ve chaired numerous council committees and have served as both Commis=
and as program chairman for a few council camp-aralls.
I am also currently serving as Tiger Cub Group Coach and a member of the =
Committee for Pack 305 in the West Hudson District of our council.
As a kid I earned the Arrow of Light, Parvuli Dei Award, Ad Altari Dei Aw=
and Eagle Scout w Gold Palm.
I=92m a Life Member of NESA and a Brotherhood member of Mantowagan Lodge =
Order of the Arrow.
I was a charter member and VP of Omicron Sigma Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega=
St. Peter=92s College in the 60=92s and attended APO Leadership Training =
Schiff Scout Reservation.
As an adult I have received the Commissioner=92s Key, Silver Beaver, and =
James E. West Fellow and member of our council=92s Scouting Heritage Soci=
I attended the 1960 National Jamboree as a scout, 1964 as JASM, and 1985,=
1989, and 1993 as a =93Sub-camp Dining Officer=94 (read =93cook & dishwas=
Did Philmont in 1960 also and worked on the BSA=92s New York World=92s Fa=
Service Corp that same year.
As a youth served as the Council Explorer Cabinet President (today called=
Chairperson) and participated in a Region II Explorer Leadership Conferen=
at Syracuse University sometime in the early 60=92s.
I was trained in NE-IV-38 Woodbadge and =93...used to be an Owl.=94 I=92=
completed Cub Scout Leader training, Scoutmaster=92s Fundamentals, and Ex=
