Oops - I juts pressed the wrong macro and sent this to listserv - see what
biscuit week does to leaders?? :)

Yep - our biscuits are particularly yummy :) They go on sale from tomorrow for
2 weeks here. I love the biscuits and hate the selling as in spite of the
ideal being no leader involvement we somehow end up with extra work anyway. We
are giving out about 4 cartons per girl and each carton has 16 packets of
biscuits at NZ$1.60 ea.
We haven't expanded into the chocolate ones (I personally hope we stick with
the vanilla which we have no real problems selling in spite of complaining
about it :) ).
We make basically all the money to keep our unit running from Guide biscuit
sales (this is just in our unit - I am not speaking for anyone else).
A percentage of the profit goes to National and on down the line with us
ending up with a reasonable amount at the end for our unit.

That's an oldie but a goodie :) They make wonderful cheescake bases, and I
have a whole book of recipes just for the Guide Biscuits (meaning the plain
ones :) )
>Her husband is the GL and just adds the words "Guide Biscut Season"
>to a group newsletter and they sell.
That is great co-operation :) :)
To the people I owe or promised biscuits - they will be winging their way to
you sometime next week so I will confirm addresses soon.
