Just for the record-
Our scouts are all underpriveledged. The only uniform any of them own is an
official scout shirt - no neckerchief, pants or hat. My husband and I also
wear only the official scout shirt. I think you are being a bit too
fanatical about uniform. Just because our boys cannot afford a full uniform,
should that exclude them from enjoying recognition via publication? I think
not! Scouting is many things to many people and the uniform has very little
to do with pride!
