I am in the midst of an adult volunteer problem, not with my troop but with
the Brownie troop in my son's class and the CubScout Pack he is in. The
Brownie leader is burned out and there are no parents stepping up to help.
The Cub Scout Pack Committee (please excuse terminology errors) has all of
its members moving on to Boy Scouts.
So I am going out to the school/parish community and the community at large
to ask for volunteers. What I have learned from this list is that our
leaders do not only come from the Scouting parents, but also from those who
have enjoyed Scouting themselves.
I woudl sk that if anyone has already run a successful volunteer appeal, that
you share that information with me, so i don't have to reinvent the wheel.
ALL suggestions will be gratefully received.
Thanking you in advance:

I only speak for myself, 'cuz no one will let me speak for them.
