There was an article recently in the Boston Globe that
talked about single sex schools for women and the
results were pretty remarkable. The women in the single
sex schools had a much higher math and science SAT
score (and interest) than in the public sector. They
were saying it was due to the fact of single sex as oppose
to a private/public environment.
The other interesting point was that the females liked the
environment much better than the mixed classes.
