Well said both Lew and Cliff.
I can't help but put my $.02 in on this, as things indicate here
on the list, this issue will continue to be relevant either until
h*ll freezes over or the BSA changes its policy (thats not being
redundant is it:-)?).
I may not have the right of it, but this problems seems born out
of the two largest (most vocal) cultures in the US coming to a point.
That of the Modern American liberalism of the 1960s and 1970s, which
had the attitude of eqality to a point of sameness - among some of
its followers, and the New Conservatism born out of frustration of
the decline of values throughout American Society at large, and who
see the Liberals hand in most of the decline.
These diametrically opposed paradygms have proven time and time again
to confict at almost every point, from politics to religion to even
