If the owners wanted to find a surer way to loose their exemption from
anti-trust laws, I don't think they could have found one. Can you
imagine tens of thousands of outraged parents calling their congressmen
about this? I almost think it has to be a rumor started by the players
in order to confirm in the minds of the American public that the
owners are nothing more than a bunch of money-grubbing pinch-pennies.
