Little League is in legal trouble!!

Pardon me for being a little off the subject of Scouts, per se, but this
deffinitely falls within the group charter of "youth groups worldwide".
I am completely appalled and thoroughly disgusted by the news that I heard
this morning on Charles Osgood's radio program.
I seems that the professional baseball leagues have discovered another way
to try to line their pockets at the expence of the fan. From what I heard
they have just discovered that the Little League has been in "trademark
violation" for years for using the names and logos of the major league
teams on their uniforms. As of now, they want the LL to pay a $6 per
child royalty to the league for the use of the logo.
I, personally, feel that this is outragous! Even if the LL _has_ been in
trademark violation for a number of years, IT HAS NEVER BEEN ENFORCED.
And that, I believe, should make the current royalty unenforcable where
the LL is concerned.
Pardon me for leaving so abruptly, but I have to go hug the "thunder mug".
I'm sick to my stomach!
