This is very unfortunate. Note that there are lots of reasons for suicide,
amny of which are not at all related to personality defects. For example,
people with ADD (attention deficit disorder) - and there are a LOT of us
out there - may have a tendancy towards this if our symptoms are "right."
ADDers tend to be impulsive AND tend to have bouts of depression. The
combination is sometimes quite deadly. The impulsive behavior tends to
bypass our normal checks and balances, and if this occurs during a brief
deep depression ...
I offer both you and your friend my prayers. If this was indeed a medical
problem, he will not be judged harshly in his next estate. And in any
event he will have a chance to redeem himself.
and yet it still hurts ...
