I am not an O/A member (or a subscriber to arrow-l) and I could use
some info regarding O/A election rules.
It seems clear that the Scoutmaster has the obligation to ensure that
Scouts otherwise eligible for election are "ready", e.g. are mature
enough to be elected, etc.
But what about the Scouts' eligibility to *vote* in the election?
Are there any restrictions, particularly for Scouts new to the Troop
who may not be familiar with all the candidates? Does the troop (or
the Scoutmaster) have the right to restrict *voting* eligibility, or
is that totally controlled by the O/A rules?
