Of course, when Girl Guides where born, a year after scouts did, B.P.
had to face a sexist society, and so he HAD to create two different
associations. But he wasn't stupid. He also thought about different
aptitudes, and so they remain separated because of the different
training needs of boys and girls.
IMHO, scouting associations that have the same training programs for
both girls and boys... well, don't have much an idea of the REAL
differences between a man and a woman. Please notice I am not
talking about co-ed, but about recognizing different needs...
