What is the big problem here? Even if your council refuses to use any element of
common sence with reguard to the winter indoor sleepover issue. It is
easy to get around. IF THEY WANT TWO ROOMS GIVE THEM TWO ROOMS. Use a rope and
sheets or blankets or tarps to divide the room at bed time. establish no-personnel
zonees along the "WALL" now you satisfy the &^%$$^&^*&mmmmmARGH that doesn't
know the difference between LONG TERM CAMP RULES and an overnight sleepover.
This is the kind of second tier leadership attitude that drives people away
from properly run programs! LOOK for SOLUTIONS not BARRIERS.
IF they think this is such a problem, I suggest they look at the WORLD of
scouting not their narrow obstructionist cocoon.
