Very easy. If you have a four lane track, then each car runs 4 time,
once down each lane,
They run against different cars each time which takes some
to figure out... Someout out there had a PC program to figure it out
which I have used... Anyone know who this was?
When you race each run you keep track what place each car came in:
If you come in 1st place, you get 1 point, 2nd place 2 pointsm, 3rd = 3,
4th = 4.
You total all the runs for each car :
car No. race1 race2 race3 race4
23 4 2 1 1 = 8 total
For the next HEAT, you can decide that all cars with 6 or less run.
-or- the top 6 cars -or- the top 4 cars .....
The best part about this is that everyone is involved for all the
4 races that all the cars are run in. (long time)
Double elimnation knocks people out of the race very quickly so you
have LOTS of losers very quickly which means they tend to pack up
and leave (which is not the greatest in the scout spirit catagory, but true).
