In response to David Weets, my district contains 39 traditional units
and 2 Learning for Life units for a total of 41 units. Our Council
contains about 125 units total in three districts. We are a class 51
Council, one of 10 in the Southern Region (5 of which are in
Ten years ago, I was in the National Capitol Area Counceil for a year
(George Washington District) and at that time I understood the
District to have about 110-120 units, and used to commnet that the
District was 'bigger than my home Council.'
At Phimont last summer (Key 3 Conference) I recall that one Key-3
present was from the Salt Lake area and their District had 2000 units.
I concede I may be mis remembering this, but it was the biggest I had
ever heard of.
