I once asked a European SM (from a country where girls & boys were combined in
Scouting as well as many other activities) if girls and boys commonly play
together or in seperate peer groups.
I was told, that despite the historical co-ed atmosphere, boys and girls tend
to play in separate groups until mid-teens.
Just a point of interest, and perhaps importance on the subject of natural
behavior patterns in humans.
