It kinda funny but when I was in scouts (as the kids say kiddingly
"around the time they invented the wheel"), the young ladies were
not very aggresive as they are now. The young ladies are far more
sophisticated (and more mature) than the boys and this is one reason
that I like USGSA and BSA separated.
I like the idea that the "boys" can mature, learn skill and basically
grow up with their male peers and have a place for that.
I feel the boys and girls have PLENTY of time and opportunity to be
together socially, BSA provides them an opportunity to be apart.
I am curious of others view. I can see some good with the combination
of boys and girls but I see a better picture separated at this point.
