Re: Mixing boy and girl scouts

I have a co-ed High Adventure Post that works very well. But I do need to keep
one eye open at night. The girls can be as aggressive as the boys. It's all a
matter of whose hormones a jumping that night! Anyway, things seem to work
With the younger group I have found that when we have had girls around, the
girls form their peer group and the boys do the same. Not a lot of mixing
unless a boy-girl relationship already exists from school.
The best mixers indoors for us is a day at the Rock Gym. I don't know if one
exists in your area, but it is worth looking up. It's great fun for the kids,
keeps them well focused on an activity, and allows for some basic socializing.
