Peace, prosperity, health and happiness to you and those you hold dear. As
one year wanes, and another begins, reflection and rededication seem timely.
For me, the past year has been a rollercoaster of good and bad things. The
fellowship of scouting and the trials of troop leadership have been closely
entwined with my family and life. Sometimes, I have been angry or frustrated
with my fellows. Sometimes, I have been elated by the successes of our scouts
and troop. In the comming year, I shall cling to that elation as I strive
to let anger and frustration roll off my back like water. I'll try to check
my ego at the door, so that my actions shall better serve our scouts. This
next year will be a year of successes, but when things don't seem to be
working out, I know there are many fellow Scouters like the ones on this list
who will help me work through the difficulties. Thanks to you all.
