To be a bit more precise, I refer you to the definitions contained in the
"Webster's II New Riverside University Dictionary", wherein it is stated:
coed or co-ed [short for coeducational student.] Informal. -n. A woman
student at a coeducational university or college. -adj. Coeducational.
coeducation also co-education n. The system of education in which men and
women attend the same institution or classes. -coeducational adj.
