Introduction & Citizen in the World Merit Badge

Like many others, I have been lurking on the Scouts-L list for quite
some time and would like to introduce myself:
Doug Dygas, Assistant Scoutmaster(Troop 25) &
Assistant Cubmaster(Pack 25)
Arborland District, Cornhusker Council
I returned to Scouting about 2.5 years ago, when my eldest godson
joined Cub Scouts & his father was asked to become Cubmaster. It is
wonderful to be involved in Scouting again after nearly 25 years. I
find this list to be a wonderful resource, and like some others, I
need some help.
I am serving as counselor for the Citizenship in the World merit
badge and I thought it would be "cool" for the Scouts to get some
experience with electronic mail AND communicate with Scouts in other

17. The rest of the boys will meet during the week between Xmas &
New Years. A general greating to these Scouts would be great, along
with any kind of Holiday anectdote or custom you would like to share
