Good Times Virus. . .

Someone sends out an "urgent" message about a virus. This is
propogated and repeated on BBS's and Email worldwide by
panic-stricken netrubes like us, clogging the channels.
Then, the experts weigh in with their "oh, this is just a hoax"
messages, which are repeated by each BBS operator to his BBS and are
mailed all over. So then each of the netrubes see it in one place
and then forward it to everyone they know, so that the same
reassurances about the virus "hoax" are repeated over and over again
in each forum, ad nauseum.
Maybe that's how the virus works. . . =:-0
