Amen. The object of the game seems to be to guilt the parents of the
fund raising organization into buying the popcorn themselves, rather
than force their kids into door-to-dooring it, hence the high price.
In other words, we're supposed to shut up and right the check.
National should put some effort into finding a more scout- and family-
friendly fund raiser. It might actually generate some needed revenue
for both the units AND national.
