On Tue, 6 Dec 1994 there was a question from Carol McLane
< CarolMcLane@COMMERCE.STATE.MI.US > asking for some comments. Her
> We have a Mom that wants to attend camp with her son. She has been
> a Den leader and Weeblos leader for several years. Her son is in
> the Troop now and she wants to continue in troop activities with
> her boys. The problem came up during the fall camp. She was very
> critical of how the camp was run. Some of her issues are valid and
> some are not. I will not go into everything here.
> This is my main question. Should Moms go to Camp?
Without knowing what the other issues are, and assume they are not
relevant for this question, the answer is another question. Why NOT?
Are the members of the committee worried about the fact that she is a
woman? You need to get past that point, you have a parent and
potential resource (who happens to be a woman) who is interested in
the development of their son. How different is that with a man?
Come on folks get past the gender situation!!!
