The problem with popcorn sales (and Candy and most of the other
products) is you take an activity that most of the boys don't care for
and then and they have to do it for Scouts, school, church and
sports. The boys are now putting a little effort into each sales.
We had the PLC come up with a list of things that they thought would
work. We going to try are pop can collection. (There
is a 5 cent deposit and most people have a bunch they have been
forgetting to take back to the store.) The other idea was a car
wash. The boys can work together in a group and make this a fun
activity. Our other activity is a Christmast wreath sale. Most of
the boy just sold them to their family and friends.
