I think there is a difference between being considerate, and
"polictically correct". We should always use good manners, within the
bounds of reason. PC means artificially forcing the point.
IMHO, it is far worse manners to attempt to force someone to adapt to
your point of view, than to use a common form of greeting, which
accidentally excludes someone.
Besides, I fail to see why having a "Merry Christmas" is an exclusively
christian thing. Can't a non-christian have receive well wishes during a
