For the past 3 years our District's SOR has been held inside the Chico Mall.
We utilize both the outside parking lot for Boy Scout type activities, they
have included, monkey bridges, wall climbing, and cooking to name just a few.
Inside the mall is reserved for Cub Scout type booths. (Last year we
invited local Girl Scout Troops to also participate)
Each year we try to add somthing new, and this is where I need you help.
Does anyone have any great ideas about how to jazz up a SOR. Our SOR is
already a success with the units and the local community. But I'm afraid
that if we don't start getting bigger and better it's going to get boring for
a lot of people.
