S> Does my tenure towards my unit com. knot get lost
S>as I start my new posistion?
S>Or can my tenure now be connected to my new job?
S>Or do I stay on as unit com. to earn two knots?
its Up to you.
S>And are there two knots to be earned or just the one that people in
different jobs can earn?
No there's only one Award Knot per _registered_ position
Terry, What your talking about is the Commissioner's Key / Arrowhead
Award. Are you going to be the RT commish? Then the answer is yes But
the some of the other performance requirements change a little. If your
just going on staff and resigning completely from the corp then the
answer to your first question rolling your tenure over is NO. The
Commish award needs, amoung other things, three out of five years of
tenure as a registered commish. You can however keep these two years
"in the bank" and if you should return to the commissioner program
within the next two years you will still be able to use them.
The answer to your second question is: The knot you can work for while
part of the RT team is the Scouters Training award. This requires a
whole different tenure and performance requirements.
My questions to you are. Have YOU asked YOURSELF where and in what
capacity YOU can do the most good? and Why do you have to resign your
commission to be on the RT staff? Some of the best RT's use the corp as
specialized or guest instructors or moderators. What ever you do just
do your best.
Well Good luck.
