Help Me Keep That Woman

Sorry if this is a dupe, but my mail package crashed on the first attempt.
I have a superb den leader of a Bear Den. But, SHE is becoming very nervous
about "camping" later in the year in prep for Webelos Overnight. She also
feels that she wouldn't be a good Webelos Leader, mainly because of the more
advanced requirements of Webelos. She thinks a man would be better.
NOT SO!!!!! Besides having the ultimate qualification of "caring", she was a
nurse in the Navy, and is still in the Reserves. That experience and training
probably makes her more qualified than any "man" in the pack. Also she is
absolutely tremendous with the boys and they adore her. I have talked to her
about this, basically saying what I am typing here, but she is really balking
at continuing on to Webelos Leader. She is honestly thinking about the boys,
and not herself, but her concern is very misguided. She is the best!
HELP - Would you people in SCOUTS-L Land please advise me about how I can keep
this leader? Can I get some women's views to maybe help me understand just
what she is feeling. Did any women out there experience similar concerns, and
if so, how did you resolve them. I really don't want to lose this very good
