This i just a _brief_ report on how my Leadership Training went this weekend!
I will write a more detailed report later when I have recoved/woken up/done
some work/had some coffee.
First of all an observation.....
I have had _SO_ much help from you guys in Canada over the last 4-5 weeks that
you wouldn't believe it! I did a final check on Thursday and I have approx
18Mb of raw data (ascii text, local hard disk is now full (ish)) and approx
22Mb of presentation type documents (MS Word 6.0, partition on the server is
very nearly full.
I would like to take this opportunity to say a very big, public, thank you
to all of you that took the time to send postings to me. I will be writing to
you all later on.
The County Commissioner was very impressed with all of the displays from the
tutor groups and spent quite a while asking I had found out about Canadian
Groups. (intrigued by the use of Internet for data capture)
"Ah well" he said, "if you have so much information, perhaps you can write an
article for Scouting Magazine". (i've had a thought about this and _maybe_
i'll have a go (might be able to use this as a project item as i've NEVER
done sometime like that before...and who knows what it could lead to)
OK, thats all for now. As I said I will post a detailed report later.
Once again, thanks
