At our Pack Meeting last month I tried something to get adult volunteers that
worked surprisingly well.
At the end of the meeting I asked all the adults to please raise thier hands.
When all the hands were raised I told them they could put them down.
I explained to them that the hardest part of volunteering was raising their
hands, and since they already had that out of the way their was nothing
keeping them from signing up for one of the committee assignments.
Within a couple of minutes I had all the positions filled. I'd never seen
anything like it before...
