>But how could you take ...

Probably because no other German scouting association was present so far?
>BdP is just one of the german scouting organizations and even not the
Not the biggest, but maybe the best? ;-)
>So I suppose..
>GER German Specific Matters
>or if you want to take the Name of the "german" scout organization
>RDP Ring deutscher Pfadfinder
>Which is the organization that gathers the 4 or 5 biggest german scout
>organizations to represent them in international comittees. The reason for
>that is that there is only one organization per country allowed to take
>part in international congress.
Seriously, I think you are right, of course. But that was discussed only a
few mails later, and suggestion was to use DE for German matters, as it is
used in German Internet adresses. I think that is the best way. I don't
find RDP appropiate, because that would exclude German scouts who are not
member of the Ring. By the way, I would be interested which the fourth or
even fifth member of the RdP is ;-)
When making my points to this list, I tried to make clear, that the BdP is
only one among many scout associations in Germany, but the one I know best.
Whenever I felt qualified to tell something about the DPSG or VCP, I did
so. Now as you are here, to tell us from the horses mouth about the DPSG, I
feel much more comfortable about that.
