Some others has also implied that rasing the age limit to 14
will cut the total numbers of applications to Philmont by some
percent, and will give scouts in general a better shot to
experience Philmont at least once.
There have been complaints from troops being CUT OFF in the
lottery process that some scouts have made 2 or 3 trips to
Philmont, while others NEVER get the opportunity, because
of the qutoas, adn the lottery etc.
yes I have been to Philmont 1 time!
