In the past couple of weeks, several people have said that they are
leaving the list because they're losing their internet access. In fact,
one person specifically asked if there was a way to get private
access to Internet.
There is a listing called the PDAIL list. It's a little out of date, but
it's a good start in tracking down private Internet providers. To get the
A). Mail to email@example.com with the subject as "Mailbot: pdial" and I
will send you this list. This is my Work address where I've setup a
Mailbot service for distributing certain documents"
B). Send mail to "firstname.lastname@example.org" with the body of the message
as "send pdial" (This is the official way to get it).
BTW, if you want information about how to filter scout-l mail from the
rest of your mail, send email@example.com a message with the subject as
"Mailbot: Mail Filter" (also try Mailbot: Geek Code for the fun of it).
Private Internet access is fairly cheap (mail/newgroup access is usually
only $10 to $15 per month and $20 to $35 for full Internet access).
