A couple of notes regarding Harold's letter from Uganda. First, I am not =
his real uncle...he and his friend Borne, call me that out of respect. =
They call my wife, auntie. They both are adorable. They are orphans who =
are part of a choir singing to bring awareness to children in Africa, =
specifically Rwanda. While I don't know the specific details these =
children lost their parents violently when their village was raided by the =
Uganda military. Secondly, you probably guessed this, they are not =
scouts, and even the concept of scouting is foreign to them. However, =
Harold was very much intrigued by my computer and when I said he could get =
messages from other people around the world he was jumping up and down =
wanting to send a message. He'll only be with me through Tuesday morning, =
so if you could drop him a note on Monday I would be very grateful.
He was especially interested that someone from Italy wrote, so I know we =
have writers from Australia, Italy, England, Germany, Austria, Canada and =
the good ole' USA, if each of you could drop him a note and wish him the =
best with the choir it would be a great gift.
Thank you all!
