I recently purchased a sleeping bag with the Thinsulate by 3M filler.
Thie bag has three big advantages IMHO:
1 - it can actually be fitted BACK into the
stuff sack it came in;
2 - it occupies about one quarter of the space a
down filled bag occupies in my backpack;
3 - it is more than adequate for those cold nights;
oh, yes, the price is not all that bad either. It ranges form $70
to $150 CAN.
Well worth the price!
