Just had to remark here. I am non-LDS, but had the opportunity to be an
assistant SM for an LDS unit one year. The LDS unit did not run like a
traditional Scout Troop, but I would not dare to say that they need help on
"how to properly run a troop." From their perspective, the Troop was run just
fine to achieve their objectives. And their objectives were achieved. I
learned what Scouting was from a global viewpoint that year.
