My Council's two Sea Explorer Ships used cellular phones during the
rebuild of the Council Seabase rather then string a 1/2 mile of phone cable.
The proved to be such a help that one of the Ships decided to obtain one
for use during BSA activitys.
The next issue is the onslaught of handheld GPS receivers - why bother
learning how to use the compass and map when the GPS will tell you exactly
where you are?
