I don't know about "official", but all tiger cubs I see wear that orange t-
shirt. If that isn't a uniform, then what is?
Outside of that, you're talking about first grade boys who are probably feeling
pretty proud of themselves. Ask yourself: is it worse that you be upset that
that they wear insignia on their shirts, or that they be upset when you tell
them they have to take it off.
Believe me, you'll have enough trouble getting them to wear a uniform at all
when they are boy scouts.
