So, I agree they should be controlled, but they have their place. I
think they should be considered emergency survival equipment.
-I agree, my Troop also allow toys. I'd rather they learn how to manage
technology than have it dictated. I'll never forget a famous experiment by a
parent who made a deal with their kids. No TV for one year and I will by you
whatever you want. They made the deal. They did not watch TV for a year.
They read many books. Their grades looked good. After the year what did they
want? TVs in their rooms!!!!!!
We cannot hid from our world. We must manage what we have to the best of our
ability, and we learn best from direct experience. After all, the best
business people are those that have failed in the past.
