In regards to your request for WWW URLs, I guess you missed a couple of posts
within the past couple of days. Here's one from David Jansesn in The

David's Home Page is international in scope, and is really worth a look if
you would like to see a good direction to head off in. It's new, and it will
take a while to grow, but the concept is VERY sound, right down to including
information about any Scout Group that cares to contribute. An online
resource on international Scouting with text and photos of Scouting in
The BSA Home Page is very new - in its infancy, so to speak. Right now it
contains information on American Scouting, and work is underway to have all
of the badge requirements contained in it. The sole drawback is that this one
is being maintained on a desktop instead of a server, so access can be slow,
and the system is not always in operation. I'm sure it will be moving to a
server once the numbers of people trying to access it incresae.
Considering the type of organisation you work for, I would say you are in an
enviable position in terms of being well-placed to begin a Canadian Home
Page. How about it? You could drag the entire District into its inital
building phases, link it to David's and the one in the States, and grow in
any direction from there.
Now, I'm collecting home pages, too. Anyone know of any other Scouting Home
Pages out there?
