|<Our District is planning a special recognition dinner/event next March. The

great thoughts...i've seen one district find a sponsor to present
their scout book with the appropriate 'good words' on the inside
cover...presented at a district event...with both scout unit, family
and pack involved...it is a small district and this goes well
my district tried a simular event at a district camperee...to many
people to run past a camp fire...but, it was well received...we did
not find a sponsor...we presented each youth with another certificate
--these looked goooooooooooooooooood...
anyway, i think these events are important...good luck...let us know
what is happening...
