I would like to had just a couple thoughts on the respect issue,
and/or bowing ones head. I have traveled to many lands and have
pretty much found that a HEAD BOW is a sign of respect in almost
any part of the world. On the otherhand, some peoples DO NOT
like the millitary appearance of a Salute at "attention".
If appropriate, holding your hand over your heart might be better,
and in many places you could remove your HAT and hold it over
your heart as well.
There is also the issue of HATS! In some countrys you SHOULD
or must wear a hat to show respect. Also in some religious settings.
I guess my point would be NOT to guess, but to ask before you
find yourself in an awkward situation.
