Do you suppose if we in Scouts ran a promotion with big yellow arches,
but they said millions and millions instead of billions and billions, that
the McCorp types would not take us to court. (Remeber the pre-teen girl they
took to court to appropriate her trademark for the basketball card promotion
name, stating in court that she could not make economic use of it, and they
if we had a TJ Max or WalMart truck run over a scout (the wrong spelling
surely means that no one could honestly mistake it for an actual T.J. MAXX
or Wal-Mart truck), with the slogan "somecompnaies will do anything to
stop scouts from helping little old ladies cross the street" that we
wouldn't be in court pronto, and that *major* damages would be sought,
and awarded? (Remember, these were the guys who took the mom and pop knitting
shop called WoolMart to court).
Let's protecxt our interests. Lets write to the guys and get them to
apologize. Anice out of court settlement (say abig donation to establish
some needed facilties) would be in order too.
