Whats the incentive to sell NOTHING or sell $1M in bars.
THAT'S the question!
I will giive you an example:
We have a flower sale in the spring. 20 Boys, $7K in revenue, $3200 Costs.
For incentive, the first week, we throw all the names with orders that
exceed $100 for a $25 reward, above $50 in a hat for a $10 reward and $25
for a $5. This gets them going.
In the last week of the sale, (4 weeks), we have another grab for over $350,
Over $100, Over $25.
When all the orders are turned in, we get the flowers and deliver.
NOW THE IMPORTANT PART.
(Total revenue) - Flower Costs - ($1000 to run troop) = distribution to boys.
$7k - 3200 -1000 = 2800
This distribution is based on the percentage of (each boys sale)/total sales
If a boy sold 10% of the total, then he now gets $280. We next give him
15% ($42) IN CASH at Court of Honor and the rest ($238) goes to his
An SIP (Scout Investment Program) which can be used to fund trips or
1/2 can be used to purchase equipment.
