Awhile back I sent out a message requesting comments on successes (or =
failures) of 'Mom & Me' type campouts for Webelos. I didn't get a single =
response! Interestingly, we're getting very close (Sept. 16th) to the =
date I've scheduled and I'm hearing whining in the background from several =
Funny thing is that when confronted with why their whining I'm getting a =
two-faced answer. "Oh no, I'm looking forward to it." (But what they tell =
me wife is another thing. They must think that since I'm so busy I never =
talk to my wife. But I do!)
So again I ask...has any pack leaders on the net ever done a pure 'Mom & =
Me' campout, and was it good or bad experience.
Let me add...I've reserved one of the finest camps in CPC for this outing. =
The boys will sleep in a fort, and the mothers in wooden Tipi's.
Also, what type of activities appealed to the mothers at your campouts.
In Scouting . . .
